Paul Brach, PT, CHT

Paul Brach, PT, CHT became a Physical Therapist in 1991 where he received his Master of Science from D’Youville College in Buffalo NY. Paul has been board certified in Hand Therapy since 1997.

A recognized leader in the field of hand therapy, Paul has authored numerous articles about rehabilitation of the upper extremity and has lectured at national and international conferences. In 2003, Paul was the recipient of the distinguished Vargas International Hand Therapist Teaching Award by the American Association of Hand Surgery.

In 2007, Paul opened the Pittsburgh Shoulder to Hand Center, a private practice in Mt. Lebanon, PA. Prior to owning his practice, from 1996-2007 Paul worked at the UPMC Hand Therapy Center in Oakland and eventually became director of the main hand center in Oakland, the area of Pittsburgh world renowned for Universities and Health Care from 2004-2007.

Paul maintains a full-time clinical practice and finds it very fulfilling to not only get patients better, but also to get to know them as people. He also loves to spend time with his kids and his dog Pedro who sometimes makes a visit to the office.
